POST-PROCEDURE INSTRUCTIONS
Elan Support Stockings/ Ace wrap
Step 1 - Walk for 30 minutes on the day of your procedure.
Step 2 - Leave the stocking / ace-wrap along with the rest of the wrapping on for 24 hours. After 24 hours, remove the stocking/ace-wrap and wraps underneath and shower. Wear the stocking / ace-wrap again.
Step 3 - Wear the stocking/ace-wrap on the leg the procedure was performed on for 7 days. You can remove the stocking / ace-wrap before you go to sleep and wear it again after your shower the next morning.
When can I take off the stocking or Ace wrap?
During the 7 days after your procedure, the more you wear the stocking / ace-wrap the better. You can take it off when you are going to bed and when you shower. Wear it after your shower, through the day, until bedtime.
Putting on and taking off stocking/ace wrap:
Stocking/ace wrap are made from special fabric. To avoid damage, before putting on the stocking, remove jewelry that can cause a hole or snag.

- Place the stocking on your foot, gently working it over the heel. Use the black heel guide to help the stocking over the heel.
- Gently pull the stocking up your leg. Do not pull hard or tug as this can cause a hole or run in the fabric. Smooth out wrinkles or folds to prevent skin irritation. Rubber kitchen gloves can help you grip stockings at the fingertips if you have trouble pulling it up your leg.
- Gently roll the stocking down the leg to the heel. Slide it off and around the ankle and foot.
- Washing: Hand wash the stocking / ace-wrap with a mild soap and hang drý.
